HTTP_ACCEPT should include image/svg+xml

I'm wondering why Opera 8, 8.5, 9 and Firefox 1.5 don't include the "image/svg+xml" type in their HTTP_ACCEPT headers. Can someone shed some light here?

There's a bug filed on it for Firefox in Bugzilla

I'm not sure where I sit on the issue, some people in the discussion thread seem to say that PNG is only in there because it was a way to gain traction for the standard. I'd have to go look up the RFC on HTTP_ACCEPT to make a better opinion.
