how about an XSLT section ?

i think it would be usefull to add an XSLT section under "coding for SVG"
since there are now at least two user-agents that support client side xslt tranformations to svg ( Opera and firefox , Safari?)
what do you think ?

Hi Holger, Great to see you

Hi Holger,

Great to see you participating. Actually Rob and I had some long discussions on this. Ultimately these are his forums, but I think I mostly convinced him to start off with some key general areas and if something catches on, then split it off into its own sub-forum as needed.

Thus, you'll see there's an Interfacing With Other Languages forum as a catch-all for discussions of SVG pairing with XSLT, XBL, XForms, etc.

Yeah, I was going to put in

Yeah, I was going to put in a bunch more subforums in there but decided to hold off until there's a lot of discussion on each of the different languages. XSLT in particular is an interesting one. Personally I'm not into XSLT on the client side - I've always used it for server-side transforms. There is demand though for delivering XML and transforming it client side.

If enough people are doing it and talking about it here then I'd definitely add a forum dedicated to it.

thanks Jeff an Rob ! so i

thanks Jeff an Rob !
so i will just start an xslt thread... :-)

cheers
