Welcome

Welcome to GetSVG.com. The site is open to everyone interested in developing with the W3C's Scalable Vector Graphics. There are places to voice your opinions on where you think SVG is going, talk about coding your own Rich Internet Applications using SVG, AJAX and whatever other buzzwords you've got on the resumé.

While the SVG standard has been out there in various forms for several years, it's well known that the technology in the field supports the standard in different ways. If you've got problems with a specific implementation, there's a place to ask about those problems and see what solutions others have come up with.

Many people look into SVG because of the ease of integration with a workflow which centers around XML. If you're using SVG in conjunction with other XML languages like XForms, XUL, or RDF varients such as FOAF, we've got a place for that too.

SVG is a very broad area of interest and it only seems to be growing. If you want to announce your SVG application, resource, or your own blog then make a post here in the Announcements forum.

Thanks for coming,
Rob
